Picture Day!

8/27/2017

The pups got their baths and photos yesterday, a lengthy ordeal to bathe and primp 8 pups and then try to get them to cooperate for a photoshoot!  No one much minded their bath, most Cotons seem to like water.  They were more concerned with the photography lights and why they were up on a small platform (which they would immediately try to dive off from).   It's not easy to get the attention of a 6 week old puppy who would rather look at those weird lights, but watching Todd's shoes seemed to do the trick.  I guess it makes sense, the appearance of shoes has meant great things to them since they were born.  Shoes come when they're fed, and when they get treats, and their parents get very excited when they see shoes, and  shoes always show up and bring them outside to play in the grass!  Shoes are apparently very exciting things, to puppies.  Once Todd started to walk away from the puppy and behind Tracy, the puppies eyes would be glued to his shoes, walking.  Then, as he disappeared behind Tracy, she had a small window of time to get their attention somehow and get a good picture before they lost interest and dove off the platform into the hammock of fabric below.  I think she did alright, considering!  :D         -Yeti

PS... To the nice man I met today...   I'm so sorry I tried to pee on your shoes... I sometimes get out of line when I have puppies and mamas both, to protect!

I am, after all, a brand new father!   April 17th my beautiful Lexi had a litter of our puppies.  We had 5 of them, 3 boys and 2 girls.  All are wonderful and perfect.   The two females have the brighter tan ears while the boys have the more subdued champagne.  Chances are those colors will fade to white with age, but it sure is cute on them right now!   Call for more information on this wonderful litter!

I love when Mom leaves her sweatshirt on the floor.  What a lovely place to curl up for a nap!

Welcome to my blog!

Hi, I'm Yeti.  Well, actually my name is Kiara Cotonbrie's Lucky Charm, but all of my friends just call me Yeti.  I like to do all kinds of fun things, I'm always happy to go along wherever my family is willing to take me.  Mom even sneaks me into stores sometimes in my little bag.  I'm sure to be very quiet when she does that, cuz I don't want her to get in trouble and not bring me next time!  Everyone seems to like me when we go shopping, they usually have to stop and say hi.  I think rules about dogs in stores are just lame.

I will continue to post updates about my life, and when we have a litter I'll give updates about the kids, too!  I hope you enjoy my Coton musings!  Welcome!

Hey there, I'm Yeti.  This is just a random collection of my canine thoughts.  I'll also use this page to update progress on my pups.
